Rated 1 out of 5 by from My dog eat better than this I always try new food my baby will eat first to know what she is tasting and I found this food absolutely appalling. I tried this last night and I am still haunted by the taste. There's no way those "taster" could think something like this can be appetizing to eat. I honestly thought the food was spoiled and checked the expiration date which unfortunately for Gerber is not. Being a first time mother it just give me a whole new reason to believe people are right when they say you should make your own baby food. Do everybody a favor and send this back to R&D.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The BEST Gerber makes! My baby boy is sickly, and Gerber's Beef & Gravy is just about the ONLY food he will eat and tolerate. It smells good, too, with a mild pleasant taste - not as overpoweringly strong (dare I say "cat-foodie"?) as Gerber's Chicken or Turkey. I am SO GRATEFUL to find it offered here because many retailers don't seem to carry the Beef anymore. PLEASE KEEP MAKING THIS PRODUCT, Gerber - it is saving my son's life!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Strange white substance I bought a bottle of this to feed my baby today. When i opened it, the top layer was a slightly darker color than the rest of the product. It also had a strange white substance on it. Appeared spoiled, evsn though it had not expired and the safety button was not disturbed. Not taking the chance on my baby. Into the garbage this goes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nutritious The white dots are not mold, it is fat that has re- solidified. My son won’t eat anything with texture, but I want him to have enough protein to hold him over. Yes, the taste is not great if you’re eating straight, but mix it with other foods and it’s acceptable. Its a good and nutritious product!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not recommend I opened a can of meat to feed my son and seen white dots spreaders on the top and the date of the meat is October 18,2020 but yet it looks as mold is on it so I open the other 3 I bough 2 beef flavored 1 ham they all appeared to have the same I’m very unsatisfied with Gerber!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Strange White Stuff, Maybe Mold? I keep seeing strange white stuff in the baby food. It's happened more than once. It looks like mold or spoilage, and I'm not able to use it. What a waste of money! The latest bottle has an expiration of Oct 12th 2017, but when I opened it, there are white dots/splotches on the top and some on the inside of the bottle. Very gross. Here is all the info from the bottle: 12OCT2017 EST121B 0848 5286515914 US1214

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Mold on the inside of the jar I opened a new, unopened, sealed jar of Gerber baby food meat - beef and gravy that was within its date and not expired. I noticed black specks, it was mold! I showed my husband and we were both furious. Still are! This is not safe for babies.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Special food for senior dachshund ... This was a loved comfort food for my 16-year-old little dog in the final weeks of her life. The remaining jars are now being enjoyed by a neighbor's younger dog. We live in senior housing and so do not have human babies ~ long since!
